Children with Down syndrome can join in with most things that their friends do and be members of the same classes, clubs and groups. As with any child, family and experiences have the greatest influence shaping the character of a child and kids with Down syndrome are certainly no different.
There is so much knowledge and understanding about how best to nurture, encourage and support development for our children and young people and so there are increasing opportunities and high expectations.
Most children now go through mainstream primary and an increasing number successfully through secondary too…
